Regular Rubber Mold The standard choice for molds. Natural rubber is strong, long-lasting and very good for mass production pieces. Rubber cures at a temperature of approximately 350 degrees F and is only suitable for original models that can withstand heat. Typically there is 3% to 5% shrinkage on average. RTV (Room Temperature) Silicone Mold This material is used for original models that cannot withstand heat or on waxes taken of the original. A minimum cure time of 24 hours is required. No shrinkage & finer product with more detail.
